Numerous but elusive wild bush stags that will give you a thrill and a challenge. No previous experience required, fully guided with all food, accommodation, transport, permits and hunting equipment provided, or bring your own gear. What to expect

Lots of roaring action in rugged terrain and plenty of opportunities to take a management stag up to 10 points with missing bez tines. Occasional chances at taking a trophy stag of 12 points plus. The antlers can be anything from medium quality 8-10 point management stags with occasional 12-14 point trophy beasts.

Rifle range training and practice session prior to hunt. Fully guided service with main meals, accommodation, transport and hunting equipment provided, or bring your own gear. Canterbury high country station private land.

A reasonable level of fitness will help you make the most of your adventure.

Sleeping bag and bathroom towell (options to hire these items)

Warm clothing layers including beanie and gloves

Pricing

Red Stag Roar Hunting – Accommodation, food and Guide Fees (price on application)

Provide as much information as possible using the form below about where you are travelling from, the number of hunters in your group, the class of stag you are after, your age, fitness and capability. Willingness to backpack hunt in steep mountain terrain and tent camp, or camp at fully serviced lodges and hunt easier terrain with mostly 4 wheel drive access.

Animal Kill Fees
Non-trophy red deer (including poor quality management stags and hinds) $250 for each hunters first deer, $100 each for extra deer.

Mature management stags (missing bez tines) 10 -13 points $1000

Trophy stags 12 points plus $2000

Chamois $3000.

Wild pig $500.

Ask us about Bull tahr and Fallow Buck options (hunted on other properties)

Helicopter
Helicopter available at extra charge for high country drop off, for the back pack hunting to be mostly downhill, price on application.

Limited spots available in during late March to mid April.
